How to Use Simple Canvas Notes
This is a minimalist note-taking app on a large scrollable canvas.
- Add Items: Use "📝 Text", "☑️ Checklist", "🖼️ Image", "🏞️ Area", or "⏱️ Timer" buttons. New items appear near the center of your current view.
- Images: Added images are draggable and resizable. Their content is saved with the notes.
- Hyperlinks: URLs (http://, https://) in Text Notes automatically become clickable links.
- Move Items: Click (or tap) and drag an item's header.
- Color Items: Use the color swatch on an item to change its background color (not applicable to Timers).
- Zoom: Use mouse wheel, or Zoom "+", "-", "⦿" buttons. Pinch-to-zoom on touch devices.
- Pan: Click (or tap) and drag the canvas background. Two-finger drag on touch devices.
- Resize Items: Drag the bottom-right corner of an item.
- Edit Titles: Click (or tap) on an item's title.
- Text Notes:
- Content with URLs will show links.
- Click the "Edit" button (✎) in the header to modify text. Click "Done" (✓) to save.
- Checklists: Edit text, check/uncheck, use "+ Add Item", or click 'x' to remove an item.
- Timers: Colors are fixed for status.
- Connect/Disconnect: Click "🔗" on two items sequentially. Repeat to disconnect. Click the source item again to cancel.
- Drawing Mode: Toggle "✏️ Draw Mode", select color/width, and draw. Toggle off to interact.
- Search: Type and click "🔍". Click "🧹" to clear. Found items will be centered.
- Areas: Visual containers. Background is a translucent version of chosen color.
- Save/Load: "💾" / "📂" to manage your canvas data.
- Clear All: "🗑️" removes everything (Warning!).
